New Sales Office Opens in Brazil
Brown McFarlane has been successfully dealing with the Brazilian market for many years. In that time the company has exhibited at three major oil, gas, and offshore trade shows and staff have made many visits to the country to meet with customers and develop business.
With its large and sophisticated oil and gas industry which requires the highest quality and standards and some very technically demanding steel specifications, Brazil is the ideal territory for Brown McFarlane. The company supplies highly specified specialised steel plates to the world's energy industries and, working closely with a major steel maker, has even developed a specification for hydrogen induced crack resistant steel that is designed specifically for the Brazilian market.
Now Brown McFarlane has opened a sales office in the Morumbi district of São Paulo. Matthew Kirby is the company's representative in Brazil and our customers will already be familiar with him as he has been based in the company's U.K. export office looking after the Brazilian market. Matthew speaks fluent Portuguese, is married to a Brazilian, and has a Brazilian mother so he will have no problems in settling in to his new life. He is looking forward to meeting customers more often and making many more contacts over the coming months.
Details of the new office can be found on the Brown McFarlane web site.
