In its first five years Brown McFarlane Africa doubled the size of its warehouses and processing facilities in Richards Bay and opened a stockholding and plate processing facility in Johannesburg.

The branches are close to our customers in South Africa’s industrial heartlands and also give direct access to the excellent port facilities in Richards Bay and Durban allowing us to service the whole of sub Saharan Africa.

Each branch carries a wide range of steel plate sizes and specifications and offers a full range of steel service centre processing operations.

As a part of the Brown McFarlane Group of companies Brown McFarlane Africa has access to the comprehensive steel plate stock range available in warehouses in the U.K., Belgium, Dubai, and Singapore. It is able to complement its own stocks with additional material from these sources and can also offer plates outside of its own range including high grade duplex and super duplex stainless steel and HIC resistant steel pressure vessel plates.
