Andrew Webster

Managing Director: International Business
Andrew has over twenty five years experience in the steel industry including seven years spent working in the Middle East. He has worked for both steel mills and steel plate service centres. He is responsible for Brown McFarlane's business in Singapore and the Group's export business based in the UK as well as developing the Group's business around the world.

John Armstrong

Export Sales Manager
John has spent many years servicing the offshore oil and gas sector and his knowledge of high yield steel plate, sections, tubulars and profiles, combined with his extensive experience of the Far East and Middle East markets continues to prove invaluable to our business and customers.

David Bradley

Export Sales Executive
David has over thirty years experience in the steel industry and has worked for Brown McFarlane's export division since 2004. David looks after much of our business into Far East countries like Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Karl Hadley

Export Sales Executive
Karl spent a short time working in our Singapore office to gain extra knowledge and experience of export markets and now looks after sales of our products in various overseas markets. Karl also provides important additional back up support from the UK for our Dubai office.

Nina West

Export Sales Executive
Nina is a Business Studies graduate with a successful track record in export sales and business development. She is responsible for our rapidly growing business in South America with particular emphasis on Brazil which she visits regularly.

Liz Broomhall

Export Sales Executive
Liz is a Languages and Business graduate who is responsible for business in Europe and the Far East as well as working closely with our offices in South Africa. Liz is fluent in French and has previously worked in Europe for major international companies.

Max Turner

Senior Sales Executive
Max has a number of years based in export sales and is responsible for sales in to Germany and Eastern Europe.

Matthew Kirby

Export Sales Assistant
Matthew has a university degree in Business Administration. He is half Brazilian, is fluent in Portuguese, and is part of the South American export team. Matthew's main focus is on helping to develop our business further in Brazil.

Lawrence Charleston

Export Sales Assistant
Lawrence is a graduate with a degree in European Studies and Modern Languages. Having lived and studied most of his life on the continent he is fluent in French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. He is involved in developing business in Western and Southern Europe as well as French and Portuguese speaking countries on the African continent.

Victoria Bowater

Export Sales Assistant
Victoria has a degree in Law with German Law and German Language (LLB). She has lived in Germany having worked there as a translator while studying at Passau University for a year. Victoria focuses on business in German-speaking countries and Eastern Europe.

Gisela Vega

Export Sales Assistant
A graduate in International Business Development, Gisela is from Ecuador and uses her Spanish language skills and knowledge of Latin American culture to assist in developing business in South America.

Cathy Bottomer

Logistics Manager
Cathy has spent many years organising all aspects of export documentation and logistics. She will be happy to assist you with any queries you may have regarding opening letters of credit or logistical problems ensuring that your goods are despatched efficiently and delivered on time.
