Armour Plate

Armour plate steel is available from Brown McFarlane International’s stock in Jebel Ali. It has been specifically developed to provide human protection through its ability to withstand the impact of projectiles fired from a variety of lethal weapons.

Aimed especially at the market for armouring civilian vehicles, Brown McFarlane’s stock of steel plates is used to strengthen door panels and other vulnerable components.  Vehicles protected in this way are then used by diplomats, aid agencies, and medical teams operating in some of the world’s most dangerous environments.

The steel is offered as plate or as ready cut and formed components and the Jebel Ali range is supplemented by stocks held in Singapore and a fast track delivery service available from the manufacturer.

Brown McFarlane International is the exclusive distributor across the whole of the Middle East for Protection 500 steel plate for human protection which is manufactured by Miilux in Finland. Protection 500 is an established brand of armour plate with a global reputation for high quality and integrity.

Protection 500 plates meet the protection standards of most international authorities including EN1522, MIL-A 46100D, and STANAG 4569. All plates sold by Brown McFarlane International are supplied with material test certificates and ballistic test reports.

Plates are available in 3 mm, 4.2 mm, 6.3 mm, 8 mm, and 12 mm minimum thickness.
