We have knowledge of the offshore industry dating back to the first oil discoveries off the coast of the UK forty five years ago. The expertise built up over this time is now being put to good use helping to supply steel to newer locations in South America and the Far East. A comprehensive range of offshore grades is held in our locations in Dubai, Singapore and Antwerp to service the rest of the world.

The increasing demands of offshore engineering are making use of very high yield steels up to 900 N/mm². We have developed with a major client our own trade marked steel for use in the mooring systems of oil rigs.

The highly corrosive atmosphere of salt water often requires steels with high strength and corrosive resistance, in these circumstances our range of Duplex & Super Duplex provide a solution.
