Group Chairman Richard is the fifth generation of the Brown family to lead the Group. His vision is to ensure the Group are in a strong position to be a leading Global Steel Solutions company.
Group Chief Executive Officer Barry has overall responsibility for all of the business units within the Brown McFarlane Group. He has more than 35 years experience in the manufacturing, processing, distribution, and trading sectors of the steel industry during which time he has made business visits to 30 different countries.
Managing Director: Group Operations John has total responsibility for all parts of Brown McFarlane's business in the U.K. and Ireland and for Brown McFarlane International in Dubai. He also heads up the Group's warehousing, processing, and material handling functions in its other locations worldwide.
Managing Director: International Business Andrew has over twenty five years experience in the steel industry including seven years spent working in the Middle East. He has worked for both steel mills and steel plate service centres. He is responsible for Brown McFarlane's business in Singapore and the Group's export business based in the UK as well as developing the Group's business around the world.
Group Financial Director Susan has overall responsibility for all of the Group's companies and sites in the U.K. and overseas. She joined Brown McFarlane after extensive experience with engineering and manufacturing companies in the UK.
Group Purchasing Director Mick has been with Brown McFarlane for over 20 years. During this time he has operated in a number of departments including Quality Assurance, Production and Sales. He is responsible for all steel procurement within the Brown McFarlane Group dealing with suppliers around the world and monitoring and managing stocks in all of the Group's warehouse locations. He has extensive knowledge of all steel specifications and their associated suppliers.
